Real Wedding: Elaina and Dion

I remember meeting Elaina and Dion at Franck's Studio at Disney's Wedding Pavilion and having two distinct thoughts--"this is just the nicest couple" and "how am I going to match their blue?"  Well, I've got to say that since they were just so nice, all the color matching was well worth it.  So let's start at the beginning--their save the dates.
We made large magnets that are 5 x 7" and got all the elements that Elaina wanted all in one place--a calendar with a Mickey highlighting the date, a castle, all their information, plus their seriously charming engagement photo!  They turned out great and we had one happy bride so we went on to step 2--invitations!

Their invitations were tricky because they really wanted two color printing but they also wanted glitter ink.  The trick is that you can't have two colors of glitter ink on the same card, but we figured out that if we had the printer run the black ink part first in flat ink, the sky blue glitter would be raised and sparkly and beautiful!  We matted the invitations on vista blue shimmer paper and they were attached to Mickey blind-embossed black pockets.  They were just gorgeous!!!

When the actual wedding came around, the new trick was to have beautiful elements, but be budget conscious because Elaina and Dion also were planning a home reception too and were stretched between two budgets.  For their programs, we did simple tri-fold shimmer cards with "Happily Ever After" across the top.

Their menu cards were our Exclusive Walt Disney World design, single-layered and in navy and the tricky blue on shimmer paper.  (I don't think there's really a color called "tricky blue, but there sure should be!)

We stamped our bay blue beverage napkins with the castle and Mickey fireworks in silver with no date so they could be used at both receptions:

And their tables were named after the four Walt Disney World theme parks:

The overall look of the room was stunning--
And of course they had one of our white chocolate castle cake tops:

All in all, the couple lived happily ever after. . .and me too. . .since I got that tricky &%$#& blue to match!!!
